Garment care
A Jeeva piece is made to be kept, mended, and handed down. Cared for well, silk and linen age like leather — better every year.
Silk
Dry clean, or hand wash cold with a silk detergent if you're confident. Never wring — press the water out between towels and dry flat, away from sun. A cool iron on the reverse brings the drape back.
Linen
Machine wash cool on gentle, and hang to dry while still damp — linen forgives almost everything except a hot tumble dryer. Creases are part of its character; iron only if you must.
Crochet
Hand wash cold and dry flat, reshaping gently while damp. Store folded, never hung — the open work will stretch under its own weight.
Beadwork
Spot clean only. Keep perfume and sunscreen away from the beads, store flat wrapped in tissue, and bring it to us if a thread ever loosens — repairs are part of the promise.
